School discipline refers to the rules and strategies applied in school to manage student behaviour and practices used to encourage self-discipline. We encourage children to develop self-discipline, and support this aim by attitudes, which praise and reward the positive, social and academic efforts of the pupils. All members of staff work committedly towards this ideal. RGS is proud of its positive, caring ethos and of the high standards of behaviour amongst its pupils. It strives to make our children feel happy and secure. Furthermore, we seek to ensure all pupils have consideration for others in a civilized and well-mannered environment.
