Curriculum

Rama Global School has aligned the curriculum research for each of our learning areas with learning themes such as cognitive development, mechanics and current affairs. These offerings by RGS are designed to develop a well-rounded preschool education. The core learning areas are reinforced with a prepared environment, fun activities and an outcome-based learning structure.

The primary goal at the heart of the Rama Global School mission is the enhancement of child learning opportunities and outcomes. We have included language arts in the curriculum as it supports cognitive thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills in young children. Numeracy is the ability to reason with numbers, while problem solving is the
key element to mathematics. We also realise that physical development is an important skill that preschool children should develop.

Our Pre-primary aims to nurture each child’s potential, through love, care and encouragement. We realise the crucial influence of early education on academic development and learning. Early childhood foundation makes a great difference to the future achievement of children. Whether our children become self-motivated learners and face the world with confidence, depends to a great extent on the stimulation, guidance and nurturing they receive early in life.

Each theme is taught through a unit of inquiry. Within these themes children learn all the major subject areas like Mathematics, English Language, Art and Craft, Second Language (Hindi / Mandarin / French) in kindergarten classes. Our kindergarten education aims to promote a love for leaning. Children are encouraged to become independent learners with a whole range of skills to ensure that a firm foundation is built for the next stage of learning.

  • The curriculum comes as an attractive package in which the academic lessons are interfaced with art, craft, music, sports and even field trips so as to stimulate the interests of the tiny tots. RGS caters an early childhood education for 3-6-year-old children that are grouped into the level of: Nursery (3-4 Years Old). Kindergarten (4-5 Years Old). Preparatory (5-6 Years Old). Grades I & II Montessori method becomes our foundation in providing suitable and quality programs for the children of preschool and kindergarten to grow as life-long learners and independent and responsible future leaders. Evaluation Teachers assess the children in both scholastic and non-scholastic areas daily and reports are sent to the parents twice a year. Formal examinations are not conducted. No grades/ranks are given. Promotion is based on the overall progress of the child. Other facilities There is an indoor playroom which is well furnished with toys meant for the development of mental abilities like the co-ordination of muscles, and learning and differentiating shapes and colours. Craft work helps to develop the locomotive skills.
